About EMRS Jonai
Ekalavya Model Residential School (EMRS) is a quality residential school established by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India and managed by the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS).
Located in Purana Jelom, Pasighat Road, Jonai, Dhemaji District, the school started in Academic Year 2025-26 with 60 students of Class VI, providing free residential education from Class VI to XII.
