Admission Procedure

Admissions to EMRS Jonai are conducted through a selection test as per NESTS guidelines. The school primarily caters to Scheduled Tribe (ST) students from Dhemaji District.

Eligibility Criteria

• The student must belong to a Scheduled Tribe (ST) community
• Preference to students from Dhemaji District, Assam
• Class VI admission: Age between 10-12 years as on 1st April of admission year
• Must have passed Class V from a government/government-aided school
• Annual family income: As per NESTS norms

Selection Process

• Notification published in newspapers and on school notice board
• Application forms collected from eligible students
• Entrance selection test conducted as per guidelines
• Merit list prepared and displayed
• Document verification and final admission
